To apply for study at Agape English Language Institute, please do the following:

1.         Submit Application for Admission

2.         Pay $75 for the Application Fee by bank check, Western Union, Money Gram, or Wire Transfer*.
                        *Account Number & ABA Route Number will be sent by email after you
                          submit your application. Please add $25 for the wire transfer fee.

 3.         Send Agape a copy of a Bank Statement (or a letter of financial support) showing that you have more than $3377.55 US dollars for each 9-week session that you plan to study at Agape.      * Please include the current exchange rate and the balance of your account in US. Dollars (USD). You can fax it to us (803-252-5500). Note that the "program end date' stated by Agape on the I-20 cannot extend beyond the number of sessions for which you (or your sponsor) has documented sufficient funds.

*If the bank statement belongs to someone not in your immediate family and they will be supporting you during your studies here in the US, then we will need a letter from that person telling us his/her name, address, phone number and saying that he/she will support you during your entire studies in the US. If your sponsor is living here in the U.S., then he/she must pay for two sessions in advance (this money is refundable) before Agape can mail you the I-20.

4          Student applying through an agency do not need to pay the application for admission fee until they register on-site at Agape.

5.         If you want to live with an American family, please submit a Homestay Application and $100 Homestay Application Fee

6.         After we receive the completed application, application fee, and bank statement, Agape will mail you an I-20 form*.  You will need this form to then apply for your F-1 student visa at the local U.S. Embassy or consulate in your country.

*If you want us to send your I-20 by DHL or United States Postal Service express mail (a faster, safer way to mail it), please include $75 for the express mailing feeWe highly recommend this form of shipping as it is the only way we can guarantee arrival of your I-20.  You can send this together with your application fee. 

7.         To obtain an F-1 visa to study at Agape English Language Institute, a student must show the U.S. government: 

·        An I-20 properly issued by Agape English Language Institute

·        A passport valid for at least 6 months

·        Intention to stay in the United States “temporarily and solely for the purpose of pursuing a full course of study.”

·        Proof of a residence outside the U.S. to which the student intends to return after completing the temporary period of study

·        Financial ability to cover the cost of education and living expenses in the U.S.

·        Proof of having paid the SEVIS fee http://www.ice.gov/graphics/sevis/i901/index.htm

8.            REFUNDS: If you do not get a visa, the application fees and express mail fees are not
   refundable. See Agape's Withdrawal and Refund Policy:
