1. Tuition
1.1. Cancellations
1.1.1. Agape will not collect tuition, homestay or insurance fees from any student until he/she has been officially accepted into the program. If an applicant who has gained acceptance and subsequently is denied his or her student visa or the program for which he/she has enrolled is cancelled by Agape, this applicant will receive a refund of all tuition by following the procedure described below.
- Return your original I-20 form to Agape (if applicable).
- Submit proof of denial of visa (if applicable).
- Obtain a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape before enrolling.
Note: Applicants will never receive a refund for the following non-refundable items:
- Application or registration fees (for enrollment and homestay, if applicable)
- Late fees
- Mailing fees
- Student insurance premiums
- Credit card fees
- Wire transfer fees
A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of cancellation, written proof of denial of visa, the original
I-20 and a completed reimbursement form.
1.1.2. Applicants who have been accepted by Agape but choose to cancel their course load before enrolling will receive a refund of tuition by following the procedure described below.
- Return your original I-20 form to Agape (if applicable).
- Retrieve a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape before enrolling.
A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of cancellation, the original I-20 and a completed reimbursement form.
1.1.3. F-1 applicants who have entered the country on an I-20 provided by AELI but fail to enroll or do not report to AELI will receive a refund of tuition reduced by a $100 administrative fee, four weeks of tuition, and any housing cost paid to the host family in advance by AELI. Applicants may receive a refund by following the procedure described below.
- Provide proof of departure from the U.S. or an I-20 for initial attendance at another institution.
- Retrieve a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape.
A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of cancellation, a completed reimbursement form and proof of departure from the U.S. or an I-20 for initial attendance at another institution.
1.2. Withdrawals or Terminations
1.2.1. Enrolled students who withdraw from Agape or are terminated by Agape during the first week of class will receive a refund of tuition reduced by a $100 administrative fee by following the procedure below.
- Retrieve a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape before Friday, 4pm of the first week of class.
- For F-1 students: submit written proof of completed transfer to another SEVP-approved school or proof of return to home country within one week from the day of cancellation.
Note: Applicants will never receive a refund for the following non-refundable items:

1.2.2. Enrolled students who withdraw from Agape or are terminated by Agape after the first week of class but before 50% of the session is complete will receive a partial refund of tuition. The refund amount will be reduced by:
- A $100 administrative fee
- The cost of tuition divided by the number of enrollment weeks multiplied by the number of the week during which the student submitted his or her written request for withdrawal and refund
- 10% of the tuition for the number of enrollment weeks following the week in which the student submitted his or her written request for withdrawal and refund
The following example is given to clarify the calculation of refund described above.
Student A signs an enrollment agreement for a nine-week session and pays $1,600 in tuition. Student A then decides to withdraw the Monday of the third week of class. According to the policy described in 1.2.2., Student A will receive a refund based on the following calculation.

A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of withdrawal (if applicable) and a completed reimbursement form.
1.2.3. Applicants who withdraw from Agape after the 50% of the session is complete will not receive a refund.
2. Housing
All students who request a cancellation of class and housing at the same time will only be charged the administrative fee described in Section 1 above. However, if a student requests a cancellation of housing but not a cancellation of class, a $100 administrative fee will be subtracted from his/her refund amount if he/she has already moved in to their host family's home.
2.1. Cancellations

2.1.2. Any applicant who has arrived in the country but has not yet moved in to his or her host family's home will receive a refund of housing fees by following the procedure described below.
- Obtain a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape.
A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of cancellation and a completed reimbursement form.
2.2. Withdrawals or Terminations
2.2.1. Any student who chooses to move out of their host family's home or is terminated by Agape during the first two weeks after the day he/she signed the enrollment agreement will receive a partial refund of housing fees by following the procedure described below.
- Move out of the host family's home.
- Obtain a reimbursement form by contacting the Agape office.
- Submit a reimbursement form to Agape.
The refund amount will be reduced by:
- A $100 administrative fee (if student does not also withdraw from class)
- The cost of housing divided by the number of enrollment weeks multiplied by two
A refund of tuition will be sent within 45 days from the day that Agape receives written or verbal notice of move-out and a completed reimbursement form.
2.2.2. Agape sends payment to each host family during the third week of each session. Therefore, any student who chooses to move out of their host family's home or is terminated by Agape three or more weeks after he/she has signed the enrollment agreement will not receive a refund.
